You can nest an issue under another one by dragging it inwards or outwards. (Hover under an issue that you’d like to be the parent issue. Hover over an issue that you’d like to be a child issue.)
While dragging an issue, you will see a blue bar in places you can put the issue in and a red bar if you cannot put the issue there for some reason.
Drop the issue (or many issues selected with SHIFT or CTRL/Command) in the blue spot.
In the Panorama there’s a possibility to define a custom hierarchy (different from standard Jira Epic > Task/Story > Sub-task) that will automatically structure your issues in a desired way. Read this article to learn how to create a custom hierarchy in the Panorama. |
If you’d like to have the issues separated into a few groups (i.e for feature/release/sprint planning), create some directories. You can add multiple issues and sub-directories underneath each directory.
Click on the folder icon.
Once the new directory is created, it appears at the bottom of the Panorama.
Drag and drop it under the desired directory.
Click on the directory for which you plan to create a sub-directory.
With the directory selected, click on the folder icon.
The new directory will appear under the selected one.
To delete many issues or directories, click on them while holding the CRTL key on your keyboard (Command (⌘) for Macs). With multiple issues and / or directories selected, click the trash button to delete them all at once. |
