Comments

Comments in OKR for Jira allow you to bring the discussion on the OKR’s status right to the tool!

Adding comments

In order to start commenting, simply click on the “+New comment” button on an update made to an Objective or a key result.

Add a comment in the text field below the original update. You can @mention people from your Jira in the comments.

After you’ve saved the comment, there’s an option to reply, edit and delete your comment. Users can reply to each other’s comments, but only the comment’s author can edit or delete it, as shown below:

Notifications

You can set up what kind of notifications you’d like to receive in the Settings panel, on the Notifications page:

Each user can decide what kind of information they’d like to receive. All notifications are sent via email.

Permissions

There’s a separate permission in Advanced Permissions settings that allow users to comment and reply to comments.

In the Basic setup, users with editing capabilities will have permission to comment on the OKR updates.

If you have any suggestions or questions to the feature, please reach our support at support@appfire.com
