Subqueries take long to reindex
Problem
Subqueries take a long time to reindex and the search results are out of date
Solution
Subqueries are a legacy functionatliy and they suffer from performance problems. The issue is more prominent if there are many subqueries in place.
A quick fix could be to delete unused subqueries but the recommended approach is to use the new Extended Search screen for your use cases. This way you can save your queries as Jira filters and achieve much better reindexing times.
